Additional Details:
Parents are not permitted to watch the tryouts and must wait on the main level of RAMS.
Have your child wear shorts, indoor/basketball shoes, and a numbered t-shirt or jersey (no travel or AAU/club jerseys). If needed, we will have a limited number of numbered shirts available. Also, bring a water bottle and a basketball if possible (limited balls will be on-site).
Evaluation & Team Selection:
Tryouts will be evaluated by a team of independent evaluators, led by the Roseville High School Varsity Basketball Coaches.
Not all players may make a team due to the number of participants and skill levels. If your child is not selected, they can join our In-House program and are encouraged to try out again next year.
Grade Level of Play Policy:
Players must first try out for their own grade level. To be considered for a higher grade, they must be among the top three in their grade. If you signed your child up for a higher grade than he or she is in please email rybahoops@gmail.com
If eligible, they can then try out for the higher grade level and must be ranked in the top five to be selected.
Players previously selected for a higher grade can try out again but must still meet the top five ranking requirement.
Final placement decisions are made by program directors, coaches, and the board, considering the best interest of the player, teams, and program.
